Crock Pot Ribs!

I usually slow-bake my ribs in the oven. But there is nothing better than a “fix it and forget it” meal! Being able to start your dinner in the morning and freeing up your day is priceless!! This crock pot rib recipe is really good and super simple.

To make this Crock Pot rib recipe, you will need the following ingredients:

Ribs (pork or beef)

2 cups bbq sauce + extra to brush

1 cup ketchup

3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar (you can substitute white vinegar)

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 tsp Worcestershire

dash of hot sauce

salt and pepper to taste

Start by putting your ribs in a single layer on a baking sheet. Salt & Pepper to taste. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 15 minutes, then turn them over and bake another 15 minutes. This process will render the extra juice from the meat so the ribs do not BOIL in the crock pot.

In a medium sized bowl, combine bbq sauce,



brown sugar,


and hot sauce. Mix well.

Place browned ribs in the crock pot.

Pour your sauce over the ribs, and cook on high for 4-6 hours or low for 8-10 hours.

After the ribs are ready, brush with remaining bbq sauce. Broil in your oven until bbq sauce gets caramelized!

Fall off the bone tender!!



Root Beer Pulled Pork Crockpot Recipe!

This is a delicious and easy way to feed the crew without slaving over the stove! The secret ingredient is ROOT BEER!! Yum! What a great combo, pork and root beer! For those of you who do not eat pork, I think chicken thighs would be very good too! If you use breasts just leave the bone in and skin on during the cooking process.

To make this Pulled Pork Recipe, you will need the following ingredients:

1 pork roast

1 (12oz) can or bottle of root beer

Place the pork in a crock pot.

Add the root beer. That’s it!!

Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

Pull pork with fork(s) or chop.

Add your favorite BBQ sauce and mix until it has enough sauce for your taste!

I like to add a little of the cooking liquid to the bun, you could also butter and grill. Mmmm!
