Mmmm…Marinade! Shish Kabobs

I love grilled meat and vegetables!

I really love to eat a healthy meal and I love to eat a big dinner and feel great after I’m done! This recipe is not only light and healthy, but it’s really yummy too! It’s also great for a mom on the go, you can make it in the morning or even the night before!

Let’s get started…
To make this super easy meal, you will need the following:
1/2 cup Worcestershire
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. black pepper
1 cup Italian dressing
1 cup barbecue sauce
About 3 steaks (I like to use rib eyes)
To make the marinade, add the Worcestershire,

the Italian dressing,

The garlic powder,

the pepper,

and the barbecue sauce.

Mix well.

Cut your meat up for skewering!

Cut up some veggies too!!

Skewer the meat and veggies and put them in a gallon size Ziplock and pour the marinade over the skewers. (I use wooden skewers. You can find these in your local grocery store in the baking isle.) Don’t forget to soak the skewers in water for 15-20 minutes so they don’t burn. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

If your grill is on the fritz, or you don’t have one, or it’s just too darn cold outside to deal with it, you can also broil them.
