BubbleCrumb Lasagna Recipe!

This is a very delicious Lasagna recipe. Definitely BubbleCrumb worthy!! I use cottage cheese instead of ricotta, and a mixture of ground beef and sausage for the filling.

To make this lasagna recipe, you will need the following ingredients:
1 pound sweet Italian sausage
3/4 pound lean ground beef
1/2 cup minced onion
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
12 lasagna noodles, cooked
16 ounces cottage cheese
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 pound mozzarella cheese, sliced
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

In a large pot, brown sausage, beef, onion and garlic.

When meat mixture is cooked, add crushed tomatoes,

tomato paste,


Add the sugar,



Italian seasoning,



and parsley.

Simmer covered for 1 hour and a half.

In a small bowl, mix egg and cottage cheese.

add parsley,
and salt.

Pre heat oven to 375.

Now let’s assemble the Lasagna.

spread 1 1/2 cups of meat sauce in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Arrange 6 noodles lengthwise over meat sauce. Spread with one half of the cottage cheese mixture. Top with a third of mozzarella cheese. Spoon 1 1/2 cups meat sauce over mozzarella, and sprinkle with 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.

Repeat Layers.

On the last layer before the cheese, add remaining sauce, then cheese.

Spray some aluminum foil, (so it wont stick to the cheese) Cover lasagna, and bake covered for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 30 minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes before serving.



Caramel Almond Berry Trifle Recipe!

A delicious dessert! Light, yet filling. Almond extract and butterscotch caramel give this trifle recipe something extra special!

To make this Trifle Recipe, you will need the following ingredients:

1 large box instant vanilla pudding

3 cups milk (to make pudding)

1 cap full Almond extract

1 pound cake, cut into cubes (Sara Lee makes a good one.)

1 tub Cool Whip

1/2 cup Mrs Richardson’s Butterscotch Caramel sauce (Ice cream topping)

Fresh Berries

Mix large box of pudding and milk (according to directions)

Add one cap full of almond extract,

mix well, and set aside to set.

After pudding has set, let’s start the layers. First a thick layer of pudding,

a layer of the pound cake,

add berries,

drizzle caramel sauce over berries,

add Cool Whip layer, then repeat layers.

Top with additional berries and caramel.


Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breasts Recipe!

This recipe is fairly simple. It is delicious and filling, but even better, it’s something really different! Oh! and it’s wrapped in BACON? Even better!!

To make this Spinach stuffed, bacon wrapped chicken delight, you will need the following ingredients:

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

1 bunch fresh spinach (washed and chopped, stems removed)

8 slices bacon

1 cup mozzerela cheese

1/4 cup sour cream

1/4 cup cream cheese with chives (could use other flavors such as herb or spinach)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup itallian bread crumbs

salt & pepper to taste

Pound each breast thin.

Place spinach in the microwave for 3 minutes. (Use glass bowl)

Drain excess liquid from spinach.

Add sour cream,

cream cheese with chives,


bread crumbs,



and pepper. Mix well.

Place a heaping scoop of the spinach mixture on the chicken.

Roll the chicken breasts around the spinach mix.

Wrap 2 slices of bacon arround each breast.

Place the chicken on a baking sheet and bake in a pre-heated 375 degree oven for 35 minutes.

after the 35 minutes has elapsed, turn the oven to 500 degrees to crisp bacon for 5-10 minutes.


Crock Pot Ribs!

I usually slow-bake my ribs in the oven. But there is nothing better than a “fix it and forget it” meal! Being able to start your dinner in the morning and freeing up your day is priceless!! This crock pot rib recipe is really good and super simple.

To make this Crock Pot rib recipe, you will need the following ingredients:

Ribs (pork or beef)

2 cups bbq sauce + extra to brush

1 cup ketchup

3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar (you can substitute white vinegar)

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 tsp Worcestershire

dash of hot sauce

salt and pepper to taste

Start by putting your ribs in a single layer on a baking sheet. Salt & Pepper to taste. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 15 minutes, then turn them over and bake another 15 minutes. This process will render the extra juice from the meat so the ribs do not BOIL in the crock pot.

In a medium sized bowl, combine bbq sauce,



brown sugar,


and hot sauce. Mix well.

Place browned ribs in the crock pot.

Pour your sauce over the ribs, and cook on high for 4-6 hours or low for 8-10 hours.

After the ribs are ready, brush with remaining bbq sauce. Broil in your oven until bbq sauce gets caramelized!

Fall off the bone tender!!


Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings Recipe!

Looking for an easy meal your family will love? Look no further!! This Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings Recipe is sure to please! It’s really a cross between Chicken and Dumplings, Chicken stew and Chicken Pot Pie! Add your own personal touches like peas, carrots, potatoes or even mushrooms to make it your own!!

To make this Chicken & Dumplings Recipe, you will need the following ingredients:

4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts (I used 2 very large ones)

2 tablespoons butter

2 cans cream of chicken soup

1 can chicken broth

1 onion diced

1 tablespoon dried parsley

4 grands flaky refrigerator biscuits

Place chicken in crock pot.

Add the butter,

cream of chicken soup,

chicken broth, (Sorry about the generic pic!)


and parsley.

Cook on high for 4-6 hours.

After cooking time has elapsed, take a fork and break up the chicken into pieces.

Now, cut biscuits into 9 pieces. Stir into hot chicken and continue to cook for 30 minutes. (Turn crock pot back on)

Serve hot! Add more chicken broth as necessary.


Niki’s Pimento Cheese Bread Recipe!

Pimento Cheese? Bread? Butter? Count me in!
Pimento cheese is a “Southern Delight”. If you grew up there, you know what I’m talking about, If you’ve never heard of it, let me introduce you to a versatile snack! Pimento cheese is most commonly served as a spread on crackers, but in some places you can find it in sandwiches or as toppings for things like hot dogs and hamburgers! I am from Southern California, and this is my rendition of Pimento Cheese!!

To make this festive and filling Pimento cheese bread recipe, you will need the following ingredients:

1 crusty loaf of bread

1 stick of butter softened

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon sour cream

2 cloves garlic minced

1 cup chopped green onion

1 (2oz) jar pimentos

16 oz chedderella (I just love that name!!)

Start by slicing the bread in half.

In a med sized bowl add softened butter,


sour cream,



green onion,

and cheese. Mix to combine.

Spread evenly on bread. Broil in a pre-heated oven until golden and bubbly!


Chicken Parmesan Recipe!

Chicken Parmesan is a true Italian comfort food! It is great to serve at a dinner party. I love to eat Chicken Parmesan, with a fresh green salad and some crunchy garlic bread! It is time consuming, but Chicken Parmesan can be made days in advance. I make 2 batches and freeze one for another meal!

To make this Chicken Parmesan Recipe, you will need the following ingredients:

8 (3-ounces each) chicken cutlets

1/2 cup flour

3 eggs beaten

2 cups Italian style bread crumbs

vegetable oil for frying (you can bake them too, but they’re better fried!)

2-4 cups mozzarella cheese (depending on how much cheese you like)

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (Grated fresh, not from a green can)

quart and 1/2 (48 oz) Marinara sauce

Please try and make your own marinara, it is easy and cost effective. If you must use jarred sauce, find a quality sauce like Rao’s)

Depending on how think your chicken breasts are, place them under plastic wrap and pound until thin. If you don’t have a meat pounder, use a heavy pot of skillet. You can also fillet these with a knife.

Get 3 pie plates or containers. Put flour in one, beaten eggs in one and bread crumbs in one.

Dredge chicken breast in flour,

then in the egg wash,

and then the bread crumbs.

Fry cutlets in vegetable oil over med heat.

Fry until golden brown.

Spread a little marinara on the bottom of a 13×9 baking dish.

Make a layer of chicken.

Add more marinara. Use most of the first quart.

Add a layer of the cheeses.

Repeat layers.

Sprinkle parsley over last layer of cheese.

Bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven covered for 35 minutes. uncover and bake until top is bubbly!
